thank you for blogging, miss. =)

maap was great. now it is over. well it's been done for over a week. pennsylvania is alright. yesterday i drove really far to get to the nearest bookstore. and it was border's, which is not as good as barnes and noble. it's definitely not as convenient as living in new jersey.

whilst driving so far yesterday, i realized that i am a right lane driver. i drove most of the way there in the left lane, and the pressure is definitely more intense than in the right lane, which i drove in going home. i prefer driving in the right lane. if you dare drive in the left lane, you are expected to be fast. you must dare to drive above the speed limit. you must be driving faster than the losers in the right lane. if you can't handle the pressure, then the right lane is for you. the expectations are far less in the right lane. slow drivers, scared drivers, sissies belong in the right lane. it's for those who couldn't cut it in the left lane. left lane leftovers. people behind you can't be as mad as in the left lane, because you could very well be an incompetent driver, and you are doing your duty by staying in the right lane. they are not justified in becoming impatient or angry, because they should go to the left lane and pass you, unless they can't hack it, in which case they belong in the right lane too. hence, they should not get angry. it could be argued, "well there's a hierarchy within the right lane." however, that can't be because there is no place else to go. if you are driving too slow in the left lane, you need to go to the right lane. if you are driving too slow in the right lane, there's no place you can move to. the person behind you must deal with it, because he is also in the right lane with you, and he is too chicken to pass. of course, you should be driving faster, but the whole reason you're in the right lane in the first place is because you are a slow driver. otherwise, you'd be in the left lane. sometimes i dabble in the fast-paced world of driving in the left lane, but mostly only to pass. usually i prefer the country living-esque style of driving in the right lane. it's nice to not have the pressure of driving really fast. since you have no right to get angry at the car driving slower than you are, just slow down to their speed, maintain a safe following distance, and coast along to your destination. without that burden of making sure you're driving fast enough, you can enjoy the scenery or catch up with old friends. it's hakuna matata all the way.
