Ducks and stuffSunday, June 1yay, shayna came down a few days ago. she got here on thursday, and we went to great adventure on friday. it was a lot of fun, especially since the weather was finally really great. the superman ride was pretty good. it's really scary at first, because you feel like you could fall out any second, but after the first drop it's alright. the only bad thing was much too many scantily clad 13-year old girls. it was pretty gross, especially when they had jelly rolls. what's up with little girls pulling up their shirts to reveal their super cool henna tatoos and leaving their booty shorts unzipped? kids these days. there were tons of kids and adults there for music in the parks. all the different bands were wearing their different band t-shirts. i remember music in the parks in 8th grade, for jazz band. we did not get t-shirts. oh well. i felt really old, especially standing in line behind kids wearing t-shirts with big "03"s printed on the backs with other kids signing stuff like "good luck in hs". plus, shay and i had to rest a lot. we would get really tired and sit down to rest like old farts. aiyah. but we could still go on the roller coasters and feel young. great adventure was good times. =) i was very glad to see my school chum shayna. |
