i'm back home, and it's nice. missouri was awesome! who knew, eh? jiao's apartment is amazing. and it was awesome to go see her broadcasting news at the studio live. she's not nervous at all being on tv, it's just natural for her, which was really cool. i got a really good impression of mizzou. for one thing, everyone has tons of school spirit. columbia is a college town, so everything revolves around the school, unlike gw, which is hated by all the foggy bottom residents. jiao's school, mizzou's school of journalism, is also really cool. i can't believe she has graduated college...time goes by so fast... =*)

so...i suppose i should reflect on what i've learned in college. i don't feel wiser or more mature, but i definitely feel more slothful. just kidding...no...i'm slothful. i guess i don't feel wiser because things that have changed because of college just feel natural, like you add them to your life experience. but i guess that's called learning. i've learned about my ability to survive away from home, study habits, the minimum amount of sleep i'm able to function on, the importance of tithing, the value of friends, exercising, that it's basically impossible to keep in touch with everyone from home, and i can get away with a lot more as a freshman. wow, i'm not a freshman anymore. i made it through, and i kind of miss it. last year i wondered if i would be able to handle it, but i've been blessed. college is really a lot different from high school (duh, right?) and i definitely enjoy it a lot more. so yay for higher education. =)
