Sunday, December 8

ok, so i was not destroyed. maybe i was being overdramatic...but it was a tough week, and now it's mostly over. one last hurdle, and that's my bio exam tomorrow!!! ahhh!!! =O wasted too much of my youth this weekend writing my crummy english paper. finished just in time for "alias" tonight though. =D studied hard for my bio exam...please please God let me do well...

it snowed on thursday!!!! well wednesday night it snowed a ton, and then it continued snowing through thursday afternoon!! it was amazing...so much snow. it was beautiful...even though it's starting to melt now it's still beautiful outside on mt. vernon. i'm really happy that i live here, because down on foggy bottom it's disgusting. it's like huge piles of poop on the street. after the first day, snow gets really disgusting in urban areas. anyway, classes were cancelled on thursday, and there are no makeup classes. my prosem prof. is still having a class on tuesday, but no math class i guess. it's kinda bittersweet b/c thursday was supposed to be the last math class EVER in my life!!! besides the final of course.... but that's right kids, i'm never taking math again!! why is it bittersweet...well math has always been a part of my life....but i'll make that a separate blog post. sweet because that means no math quiz! =) so of course no classes meant i should use the extra time wisely and do extra studying for my lab practical right? yeah...so danielle, sarah, and i trekked to cvs and then another mile or so to the video store so danielle could get a video for her paper. then i went sledding with some of the other girls for about 3 hours. it was AMAZING!!! they had sleds we could sign out in the hall council office (we g-dub kids are so spoiled =) we sledded on campus for awhile, because we have some nice hills. once i went on my stomach, and the sled was one was those circular ones, and i basically ruptured my liver, kidneys, spleen, and various other internal organs. i think that happened when i crashed onto the street. then after hot chocolate we went across the street to this park with the best sledding hills ever! other than when one girl smacked her head and back on a tree after going down a trail with a huge jump, it was all fun and games. i had the best time. it was such a great day!! i did manage to study later, but eh.

1 more day of classes, then 1 class....then fall semester is over man!! then i have a week in between. i have finals on the 17th and 18th and i'm coming home on the 18th. really gotta discipline myself to use my reading days...especially since finals are worth so much, not like in high school with all that midterms and finals are each 1/2 of an invisible 5th marking period stuff.

i had the scariest dream last night. you know those chicken soup for the soul books? well i love their stories. and the other night i was reading a bunch of christmas stories from 'chicken soup for the christian soul." ok so in my dream i was reading a christmas story, except it was like a movie, i was watching it. and it was about this woman whose little son had died. and it seems like it'll be a touching christmas story right? so then in the story a genie or something comes and tells her she can have anything her heart desires for christmas. and she wishes for her son to come back. and he does, except it's like in those scary stories where they come back as grotesque corpses and stuff...and all of a sudden this huge ghost hand pops out to grab her face. and then there's a dead body out of a horror movie and she's screaming. it really freaked me out. i don't think i'll read another christmas story in a while...oh who am i kidding i'll be reading them before i go to bed tonight.

ok gotta go do my part and study a little more, then get enough sleep. aahh...the girls diagonally across the hall are playing music from "pearl harbor" and i can hear it. =) makes me want to watch it right now. i went to their room to tell them how much i love that movie because i know it'll make a difference in their lives, and they were doing homework...with a boy!! i quickly ran out of there of course....har har. jk. i'm not that socially inept...but that's a different topic for a different blog. bye now!
