Ducks and stuffThursday, October 31today is halloween. today i had fun. on halloween. i went trick-or-treating after calc at the embassies, that was fun. later, in the evening, the girls and i went trick-or-treating at the rich people's homes along foxhall rd, and it was everything i imagined it to be. i was a war protestor. i dressed crunchy-ly, wore a bandana headband, and kim braided my hair and lent me a "no war in iraq" sign, which i carried around. man, these people have some nice houses. all these affluent people and diplomats. they were all really nice, and commented on our costumes and how old we were. =) we went to this subdivision called foxhall crescents...and it was like walking around disneyworld. it seemed so surreal, and movie-set like. nicest houses ever, and very nice candy. since it was around 8-ish, they basically had no more trick-or-treaters and a lot of candy left over, which they gave to us. yay!! it was sooo much fun, and then we got back we swapped candy. sigh...i still have so much studying to do. but i must prioritize and eat dinner and watch "er" now. =D |
