Ducks and stuffFriday, September 20i realized the other morning that college students are funny. i wanted to get a cheese danish from starbucks in the marvin center before latin, and the line was crazy long. it went around the corner and past the sandwich place. i didn't have time, so i left, and then i realized how dramatic and funny college students are. everyone flocks to starbucks, like we all need that jolt of coffee. if we don't drink that coffee, will we not be able to stay awake? what, were we up all night with the baby or do we have to sit in front of a computer in a cubicle all day? maybe we need it for the rush hour traffic? we're young, we're in the prime of life, for goodness' sake!! i think we could function during the day without those lattes and mochas and espressos, etc. "i look around me, and i ask, 'my god, why?'" |
