Ducks and stuffTuesday, September 17i just got back from a chinese american students association meeting...it was interesting. i went because i haven't met a single chinese person yet, so i wanted to see if there are any of my people here...half the club isn't chinese, which is amusing. the two presidents aren't chinese. definitely not reppin' chinese pride here. =) maybe i'll run for freshman rep...the extent of my asian culture club activity was asian club freshman year. i want to work on becoming better friends with oriental people...i'm always intimidated by them...the girls are always so pretty. =( especially koreans. i don't think i've ever met an ugly korean girl. yeah, so i get intimidated and it's a lot harder for me to become friends with chinsese/korean/oriental people than with anyone else. and i always wonder what non-asian people think when they see a group of asian people. anyway, i'll write more tomorrow, now i need to sleep. my sleeping pattern has not yet been thrown off, go me. |
