yay for campouts. sunday night shailey, nadia, neena, and i camped out in shailey's backyard. neena didn't come till around midnight because of work, so the three of us set up the tent. it's really awesome, it sleeps six and you can stand up in it and there are windows. then we left to watch the marlboro fireworks from the library. we had a perfect view. they were so awesome!! i love fireworks. then we went to my house to get my glasses, then to acme, but it was closed. then we went to nadia's house to get her stuff, and tried wawa but it was too expensive and they didn't have marshmallows, and a&p was closed. so we went to wegman's and got junk food and s'mores ingredients! then back to shailey's house. we made s'mores and ate ice cream, chips, and cookies. then we went to the tent. then neena showed up and we played the sweet valley high game by flashlight and got freaked out by scary shadows and noises. we were really wimpy and had too much imagination. we finally went to sleep around 3 and woke up around 6 when the sprinklers turned on and were hitting the tent. it's waterproof so we were fine, but the window above nadia and neena was open, so they got kind of wet. i had to get up at 7 to go home and take a shower and drive my sister to vbs. after i dropped her off i went back to shailey's and we ate and watched "anastasia". then we went back to our homes to sleep. i slept from 5 to 7 actually because i wasn't that tired until then. all in all it was a fun time. nice summer fun. =)i realized yesterday that there's nothing quite like driving around on a nice summer day with the windows open and my dog next me hanging out the window and a good song playing on the radio. it's such a nice feeling. =D i love summer!! right now my favorite songs are the new springsteen "joint", "hot in herre" by nelly, and "free" by phish. they evoke nice summer breeze kind of feelings.
