Ducks and stuffWednesday, June 5last night was my last band concert in elementary/middle/high school ever!! i'm not that sad, but it just feels weird. oh well, next year i'll come back as an alumnee. i'm glad that the last concert i experienced was pretty strong. i enjoyed it. =) and things got even weirder today in band when he handed out "pomp and circumstance" and i did not get a copy. this means i am actually graduating! i'm the only senior in my class, so i sat there while everyone else played it...and that also felt weird. tomorrow night is the senior awards ceremony, and they're doing it oscar-style, meaning you don't know what you won until they announce it. i find that amusing. the ones where we already know, because they took the pictures yesterday, were for the bloustein thing and national merit. and i finally get my blasted latin medal. =) anyway, it's too hot to stay on the computer and i'm really supposed to be making the flyer for christian fellowship, so i'm off. |
