wow, motherless brooklyn is such a great book! thanks shane for recommending it. =) definitely worth reading.so on thursday my calc teacher told me i got an E on my midterm, and i was flipping out, because i didn't think i had done that poorly. so after class i went up to her and i couldn't stop crying - i was so upset. i've never gotten a failing grade on a report card before, and i couldn't understand how i could have failed. and she felt bad, and was like it's not that bad, it's just a midterm and took out the test to show me. and so it turned out that she looked at the wrong circled number- on the open ended was a circled "24" but on the multiple choice was the 24 plus those points, which was a 50. my teacher looked in her grade book, and saw that she had written a 24 instead of a 50. so plus the part 1 multiple choice and curve i ended up getting a B. gah! at that point i was still crying because i was still processing it. she felt so bad, i could tell, and she was apologizing and stuff. so it was a happy ending. that's my story of the week.
