Ducks and stuffThursday, December 6it's awesome, two people i know got accepted to virginia early decision yesterday! and so did this other kid i knew in middle school but now goes to freehold, i haven't seen him forever until a couple weeks ago. it's really cool, and i'm happy for them that they know where they're going. =) and then next week more people will find out! about cornell, columbia, harvard, mit, upenn. wow, i hope they get in! but at the same time it's scary b/c then it really becomes definite that next year people are all going to different places...i dunno i can't explain it, it's just a weird thing, like it becomes suddenly real, that high school isn't going to last forever and in less than a year things are going to be different, and you might not see some people ever again...like after all the sat stuff, college visiting, searching, deciding, crazy application writing, etc, it becomes real. and that there will be an end...it's a strange feeling, that college is truly, really an actual place we're going to...well i wish anyone who has applied early gets good news (connie- when do you hear from uiuc?) good luck! |
